OCTOBER 2024 NISHIOGI TESHIGOTO-ICHI

Many works celebrating Halloween were on display.

On Sunday, October 27, 2024, the NISHIOGI handmade market was held in Iogi hall with the participation of 43 stores.

For example, this transparent glass container contains growing moss called “moss terrarium.”

On the other hand, according to the exhibitor, the basket-shaped works called “Happy Halloween” are made of cloth and filled with cotton and scent (lavender), and replaced every year. The pumpkins can also be used as pincushions all year round. 

2024年10月西荻手しごと市

ハロウィンを祝う作品が数多く展示されていました。

2024年10月27日（日）、43店の参加を得て「西荻手しごと市」が井荻會舘で開催されました。

例えば、この透明なガラス容器に収まっているのは生育中の苔で、「苔テラリウム」と呼ばれる作品です。

一方、「楽しいハロウィン」と称する籠入りの作品群は、展示者によれば、布製で中に綿と匂い（ラベンダー）が入っており、1年ごとに入れ替えるそうです。カボチャは、１年中針刺しにも使用できるとのこと。
