WATER BIRDS HAVE GATHERED

The birds came together as if by invitation.

One afternoon, water birds gathered at the Lower Pond in Zenpukuji Park.

Taking advantage of the arrival of a winter bird, Eurasian Wigeon with its conspicuous brown head, it looks like resident birds such as Eastern Spot-billed Ducks and Eurasian Coot are holding a welcome lunch.

誘い合わせたかのように集まりました。

ある日の午後、善福寺公園・下の池に集まった「水鳥」。

頭部の茶褐色が目立つ冬鳥の「ヒドリガモ」の飛来を機に、「カルガモ」や「オオバン」などの留鳥が歓迎昼食会を催しているかのようです。
